This year&#8217;s program combines the excitement of field searches with expert lectures on the protection and valorization of this Istrian gastronomic gold. <\/p>\n<p>This year, the opening event is organized in two parts:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Morning program: gathering of truffle hunters, entering the forest, selection of the most beautiful truffle, and socializing among participants<\/li>\n<li>Afternoon program: Expert presentations and lectures on the Istrian White Truffle and its contribution to the valorization of natural and cultural heritage, the peninsula&#8217;s gastronomic offer, and the rural economy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition to the Croatian Forest Research Institute, lecturers will include staff from the Food Quality Sector of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, and the Biotechnicon Entrepreneurial Center Ltd. from Split.
