“The white truffle is not only a delight for the palate, but also a prominent component of the natural heritage and identity of Istria. Therefore, its protection transcends the boundaries of the culinary and overall economic dimension. And once the competent authority approves the protection, the designation can be used by all producers, or collectors, naturally subject to compliance with certain conditions.”
